Antislip coating 9100

Antislip coating 9100 is a 2-component high-gloss epoxy for metal and floors. It is a very hard coating with a high film thickness. It was developed for use on hand-cleaned steel surfaces and can also be applied to clean, blasted steel, primed or galvanized steel, concrete and previously painted surfaces.

9100 provides excellent protection when exposed to strong chemicals, acids, bases, and solvents, as well as against regular spillages, chemical cleaning, and high humidity.

Advice:


Topcoat: for UV resistance, apply topcoat 9200 or 9600 (except for the transparent version).

Primers:

  • For porous, mineral substrates: 5401 or 5421 Impregnation Primer.

  • For very dense substrates, such as ceramic tiles: Super Adhesion Primer 3333.

  • 9100 can be applied over 9169, 9170 and 9180 metal primers.


The 9100 has now been improved, both in formulation and packaging. The most significant change is that the product no longer requires an induction time and can be applied directly to the substrate. In addition, the two containers have been combined for easier handling.

Advantages

  • 2 times thicker than standard epoxy coatings (125 microns dry film thickness)

  • Resistant to wear and chemicals

  • Contains a high level of anti-corrosive pigments

  • Can be applied directly to metal and floors


Applications:

  • Metal: bare or blasted metal, old paint layers

  • Floors: balconies, galleries, new & old concrete, existing paint layers

  • RAL 1023 (Traffic yellow)

  • RAL 7001 (Silver grey)

  • RAL 7035 (Light grey)

  • RAL 9005 (Black)

  • RAL 9010 (White)

Where to apply?

Metal surfaces: such as walkways, checker plates, stairs, steel surfaces, bodywork parts, public areas, bridges, (cage) ladders, fire escapes, etc.

Concrete surfaces: such as concrete stairs, passageways, warehouse floors, access ramps, entrances, parking garages, etc.

Stone surfaces: such as corridors, entrances, floors, tiles, ceramic or porcelain tiles, etc.

Wooden surfaces: such as galleries, terraces, (walk) bridges, stairs, public areas, access ramps, entrances, etc.
